To further support employers, apprenticeship incentive payments for apprentices taken on as new employees from 1 April 2021 are also increasing. Employers will receive £3,000 for new employees of any age who start their apprenticeship from 1 April 2021 to 30 September 2021.

More information on how to apply for incentive payments is available on this link

August 2020 Update - The government have announced extra incentive payments for employers who hire a new apprentice between 1 August 2020 and 31 March 2021. For every apprentice hired under the age of 25 there is an incentive payment available of £2000 per apprentice. For apprentices aged 25 and over there is an incentive payment available of £1500. These payments are in addition to the existing incentive payments of £1000 for hiring an apprentice aged between 16-18, or aged 25 or under with an education health care plan.

Funds for apprenticeship training, are available for Levels 2, 3, and 4 of the AAT. These funds are available for all employers, regardless of size. All employers are now expected to contribute towards their apprenticeships training, however there are incentive payments made which can help to recoup some of these employer contributions.

Larger employers who are subject to the apprenticeship levy can use these funds to support their apprenticeship students who wish to study with Peak Accountancy Training and our funding partners.

Feedback

Lily, Manager of one of Peak Apprentices gave the following feedback:

'The lectures were tailored well around the topics within the accountancy qualification, there was lots of challenges from the tutors via questions and mock exams set. The webinars were a great form of support, and the weekly contact from tutors and work-based advisors throughout was welcomed. Responses from work-based advisor and tutors were usually received within a couple of hours of any query which helped learners to progress. Overall it is a well thought out and fully tailored apprenticeship and I would wholeheartedly recommend Peak to anyone.'
